Along the Ancient Roman Aqueduct

Half day hike along Chiona’s valley passing on the path that retrace the route of the roman aqueduct in the typical landscape that forms a picture frame around the marvelous villages of  Spello and Collepino.

MEETING PLACE: Spello (PG)
DIFFICULTY: Easy
ROUTE LENGTH: 11,3 km
ALTITUDE difference in ascent and descent: 450 m

Duration: more or less 4,5 hours (breaks included). Hiking times are approximated and could suffer important changes due to weather conditions, environmental conditions and group training level.

Not suitable hiking for kids under 8 years old.

REQUIRED EQUIPMENT

Trekking boots or shoes with hiking soles in good conditions, long trousers and suitable clothing for trekking, knapsack, protective waterproof jacket, antirain cape, hat, snacks and water at least 1,5 liters.

RECOMMENDED: trekking sticks, sun glasses, protective sun cream in summer.
